About Us
The Snarky Dog is 9 people in Portland, Oregon, cutting and sewing waxed cotton since 2019. We started after our founder's heeler chewed through 3 nylon collars in one summer and every replacement arrived with marketing emails.
Everything runs on the same 3 materials: 18 oz waxed cotton webbing, solid cast brass, and wool felt. No plastic buckles, no bonded thread, no logos bigger than the dog's name.
2 heelers, a deaf pit mix, a labrador with opinions, and a 9 lb terror named Clive. Prototypes go to the panel first. If a design survives 90 days of Clive, it ships.
Chew damage in year 1 gets a free replacement, once. Stitching and hardware are covered for 10 years. Keep the order email and we will not ask questions we don't need answers to.
